One of our favourite white wines. Lovely colour and plenty of flavour, unlike many whites, which to us, are often short on taste.

A nice wine, one of the few that both my wife and I agree on.

First tried SG in NZ and liked it. Slightly more fruity than SB. Very smooth fruity dry white I prefer it to Villa Maria and other SBs

A softer and less zingy wine than other Sauvigons.

a very pleasant, fruity but not too acidic Sauvignon wine.

Sauvignon Gris has an interesting taste as it has a very dry flinty flavour mixed with the zesty fruit flavours associated with Sauvignon Blanc and gives a pleasant warmth on the palate. Currently our favoured white wine.

Surely one of the consistently best Sauvingnon Gris around. Fresh with Zingy flavour that lingers and lingers,

Slightly less zesty than my favourite Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc. This is a nice, slightly smoother/ calmer change.

Better balanced than many Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs, less gooseberry!

This is an exciting new varietal. Normally I drink NZ Sauvignon Blancs but this is a match for all but the very best (and generally more expensive) although similar in character. As this wine is still competitively priced- presumably until it is better known- it is worth looking out for. Tesco seems to be the main source for the present.
