Pierre Sauvion is the fourth generation of a family of winemakers based at Château du Cleray. Located in the outskirts of Nantes, the estate is most famous for its Muscadet, but also makes this Sauvignon Blanc sourced from several vineyard sites further inland. A light, straightforward wine, with a citrus fruit backbone and gentle accents of nettles and freshly cut grass on the nose. Crisp acidity provides a refreshing finish. Perfect with a summery baby-leaf salad with fresh tomatoes and goat's cheese.
