This wine was made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in France's Loire Valley, which is famous for its elegant, fresh whites. The grapes came mainly from the Haut-Poitou region, which has cool autumn nights and chalky soils well suited to this grape variety. The winemakers were Denis Rulandeau and Serge de Bucy. This wine is unoaked so its pure fruity flavours really shine through.
Serve this wine lightly chilled. It makes the perfect refreshing aperitif, or try pairing it with light fish dishes, green salads or fresh tomatoes. It would also partner mild goat's cheese well
This wine should be enjoyed while it is fresh, young and vibrant. Drink within six months of purchase and once opened, finish within two days, resealing the bottle and storing it in the fridge between servings
