The Wirra Wirra cellars were constructed in the early 20th century by Robert Strangways Wigley, who also studied law and architecture, and played cricket for South Australia. Wirra Wirra is an aboriginal expression meaning 'amongst the gums'. A brilliant crimson with a purple edge, this is a youthful and vibrant wine offering raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit, lifted by hints of violet and spicy oak notes. Drink now or over the next 5 years. Best served with red meat.
