Natural Wines

Natural wines are high on the scale of environmentally conscious wines. But there is more to them than this. The philosophy is centered around low-intervention in the winery and vineyard, becoming artisan in style. This means, no pesticides, very low levels to no sulphur, no filtering or fining, using naturally occurring yeasts and so on. They let the wine speak for itself in its most natural form. No more engineering a wine to within an inch of its life at the point it exits the wine status and becomes chemically masterminded grape juice (to my mind).
